Recruiting Videos are a great way to excite and inspire new talent. Rather than just saying what your workplace is like, you’re showing it! With the right creative team, a recruiting video will bring the workplace culture to life – getting the attention of top talent and leaving a lasting impression.
In 2019 Soar Media Group was engaged to create a recruiting video for Motusbank, Canada’s newest digital bank. The video was to be used as a recruiting tool. The word Motus means movement, which is what the bank is doing – creating a movement in banking. Aside from capturing the workplace culture and integrating the bright branding into the video, we proposed the idea of using movement as a motif, evident in the transitions, movement of subjects and movement of the storyline.
Our team produced the creative concept, wrote the script, organized the film crew, filmed the video and edited the video. Since we used real employees to film this, we engaged them in the creative process by asking questions and sharing the video outline weeks before. This helped ease the fear of being on camera and got them excited to film. This video has since been placed on the Motusbank website and can be viewed here.
The Motusbank team was incredibly fun to work with (if you couldn’t tell from the bloopers) and we’re so happy with how the video turned out!
