In February 2021 Soar Media Group was tasked with creating a social media campaign to compliment Joyburst’s first Super Bowl Canada commercial. Our team came up with the Joyburst Joywalk social media campaign, a digital campaign that encouraged creators and brand ambassadors to share their own #Joywalk using the same audio as the commercial.
Harnessing a vibrant array of voices, Soar Media Group not only built its reputation but also emerged as a trailblazer in the dynamic realm of social media marketing. The Joyburst #Joywalk campaign was a huge success for Soar Media Group. Further, it cemented our position as a reliable agency for businesses looking to make a significant impact on social media. This campaign was an excellent example of how influencer marketing can help to promote a brand effectively and drive engagement.
Strategy:
- To make this campaign a success Soar Media Group collaborated with over 30 creators, including CFL players, celebrities like Jesse Metcalfe, and micro-influencers
- These creators shared their ‘Joywalk’ with original brand-owned audio on Instagram, creating a lot of hype and buzz around the campaign. The smart approach and effective execution of this campaign by Soar Media Group helped it achieve an organic reach of over 200,000+ users. The campaign also went live at the same time as the commercial
- The campaign branded hashtag was #Joywalk and through the branded hashtag and original audio we were able to completely track the success of the campaign

Results:
- #Joywalk content reached over 200,000+ users organically through creator reels
- Our team was responsible for sharing live social media stories during this time, monitoring all creator content and ensuring it went live at the right time, and engaging with all digital content at the time of the Super Bowl commercial
- The campaign saw so much digital traction and tagging of @MyJoyburst, that at one point the Instagram platform crashed from all the notifications
- In the weeks after the campaign various CFL players and athletes reached out to the brand to build long-term relationships
