Social Media Coordinator, Soar Media Group Inc. 

This position is remote, however  home base must be within EST.

POSITION

Social Media Co-ordinator

OVERVIEW

Ideal candidate will research and organize social media content for Soar Media Group Inc. and various lifestyle clients.  Some web work and/ or public relations efforts required.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Creating and executing monthly content calendars
• Monitoring of online discussions
• Assisting in the creation and distribution of web content including blog posts
• Participating in strategy and brainstorm discussions for current clients and prospective clients
• Keeping abreast of emerging social media platforms, tools and technologies on an ongoing basis
• Conducting social media and/ or media audits for Soar Media Group Inc. and it’s clients
• Creating media lists for Soar Media Group Inc. and it’s clients
• Assisting marketing manager with organization of photoshoot planning and/ or video shoot planning
• Writing detailed analytics reports using native platform metrics and Google Analytics

QUALIFICATIONS

A recent graduate of a college or university program in PR, Digital Management or Communications

• Exceptional writing skills
• Extensive knowledge of primary social media platforms (Facebook, Instagram and Youtube)
• Exceptional organizational skills
• Familiarity with WordPress and Photoshop
• Familiarity with Business.Facebook and Facebook advertising an asset
• Able to meet and exceed deadlines
• Works well independently and as a team member
• Experience with travel, food industry an asset
• Candidate should be outgoing and comfortable in new environments
• A moderate to comprehensive understanding of photography and videography required

This role is remote—based on a work from home concept—with daily communication with immediate manager via email and Zoom. Hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. three days a week.
